Firstly, we shall visit one of the palaces in Sanssouci gardens. The New Palace used to be the guest house of the Prussian kings, and was constructed under Frederic II, 20 years later then Sanssouci. We will see the hall of precious stones and the largest marble dance hall in any European palace.

Arriving in Rostock we will commence a city tour which concentrates on the centre with its centuries old red brick architecture. As the roads in the centre are very narrow and partly closed off to traffic, our visit to Rostock is conducted as a guided walking tour.
