Due to fuel costs rising significantly since brochure production, it has become necessary for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to also levy a Fuel Cost Supplement for our 2009/2010 programme.
From cruises BL0905, BD0909, BM0909, BW0902 & BP0908, the charge will be £4.00 per passenger per night, with the charge for 3rd and 4th occupants charged at £2.00 per passenger per night.
This supplement has a maximum charge of £80 per passenger and £40 per 3rd and 4th passengers.
Where cruises also feature in the 2008/2009 3rd Edition brochure, the charge will be £6.00 per passenger per night, with the charge for 3rd and 4th occupants charged at £2.50 per passenger per night.
With these cruises, the supplement has a maximum charge of £120 per passenger and £50 per 3rd and 4th passengers. Please note prices on this web-site include the fuel surcharge supplement.

Canal Cruise By Candlelight

This evening tour takes us cruising on the illuminated canals of Amsterdam. We shall glide through the historic city centre. Sights seen will include the Westerchurch where Rembrandt is buried, Anne Frank’s House, the Skinny Bridge that crosses the Amstel River and the Town Hall.

Ypres in Flanders Fields (Tour C)

Ypres was one of the great Flemish cloth towns of the Middle Ages. Occupied by the German army for one night at the beginning of the Great War, it fell under control of the Allied Forces on 14th October 1914. Some five million British and Commonwealth soldiers passed through Ypres on their way to the front line. Reduced to rubble by constant bombardment, the town has come to symbolise the meaningless slaughter during the Great War. Now restored to its former grandeur, Ypres contains numerous poignant sites and monuments linked to the war.
