The Marine Science Centre is the world’s leading scientific capacity in marine orientation and underwater sense perception and operates the world’s largest seal basin (8,000 cubic metres). The seals here were all born in captivity and are trained to work closely with the biologists, physicists and marine zoologists

One example of East Germany’s preparation for the so-called Third World War was the construction of highly specialised military bunkers.

Our exciting tour programme starts upon arrival. We shall pass the Alexander Platz Square, with Berlin’s Television Tower – the centre and heart of former East Berlin.

Starting off, our tour takes us through Rønne. We then follow a scenic route – partly along the disused rail track and partly on forest paths – with our first stop at Nyker Round Church, which is the smallest on the island.

This is a scenic tour through the picturesque farmlands of the tiny Baltic Island belonging to Denmark. Travelling by coach we go into Rønne before crossing the island through Almindingen – one of the largest forest areas in Denmark.
