Due to the continued rise in the cost of fuel, it has become necessary for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to also levy a Fuel Cost Supplement for our 2009/2010 programme.

From cruises BL0905, BD0909, BM0909, BW0902 & BP0908, the charge will be £4.00 per passenger per night, with the charge for 3rd and 4th occupants charged at £2.00 per passenger per night.

This supplement has a maximum charge of £80 per passenger and £40 per 3rd and 4th passengers.

Where cruises also feature in the 2008/2009 3rd Edition brochure, the charge will be £6.00 per passenger per night, with the charge for 3rd and 4th occupants charged at £2.50 per passenger per night.

With these cruises, the supplement has a maximum charge of £120 per passenger and £50 per 3rd and 4th passengers. Please note prices on this web-site include the fuel surcharge supplement.

L’Anse aux Meadows is an archaeological site on the northernmost tip of the island of Newfoundland.
The reconstructions of three Norse buildings are the focal point of this site. The exhibit also highlights the lifestyles and artefacts of the Vikings. Visitors can also explore the hiking trails to nearby bays and lakes.
