Explore Dahab’s bazaars in search of a souvenir as you wander the street markets full of jewellery, handicrafts, perfumes and spices.

An approximate 90 minute journey from Sharm el-Sheikh, will take you to Dahab, considered by many as one of the most unique cities in Egypt. During your drive, your guide will point out places of interest and share insider tips on the best bazaars to grab yourself a bargain.

Once you have your bearings, you will have approximately four hours of time at leisure in which to create your perfect itinerary. You may wish to spend your time bartering with the locals and absorbing the aromatic smells of the spices filling the air, or you may like to take a short walk to one of the local beaches in Dahab where you can relax on the sun-soaked shore or even snorkel amongst the vivid coral formations – the choice  is yours.

All too soon, you return to your coach for your journey back to your awaiting ship, en route a stop will be made in a local restaurant for a spot of lunch.

The peninsula of Ras Mohammed is located at the southernmost tip of Sinai, approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) from Sharm el-Sheikh. In 1983, this entire area was declared a national park, as part of the government’s programme to preserve the coral reef structure off Sinai’s coastline. The protected area’s boundaries grew over the years and now extend over an area of 480 kilometres (298 miles), embracing the islands of Tiran and Sanafir as well as the coral reef around Sharm el-Sheikh.

Discover the holy monastery of St Catherine’s, standing on the site where legend has it, Moses saw the burning bush. Dating back to the 6th century AD, the Monastery is still occupied by monks following the Greek Orthodox Church liturgy and monastic existence.

An early start, will see you travelling for approximately three hours through the Sinai desert and mountains to the heart of the peninsula. Here, nestled at the foot of Mount Moses, where Moses received the Ten Commandments, is the Monastery of St Catherine’s. The Monastery was named after a young Christian from Alexandria, who died as a martyr in the 4th century. Legend has it that her body was miraculously discovered on a peak of a mountain near Mount Moses. That mountain, now commonly known as Mount Katherina, is the highest point in Sinai at 2,637 metres.

Your tour begins with an approximate 45 minute coach journey into the Sinai desert. Upon arrival you proceed on foot to the location where your stargazing will take place. Guests will need to negotiate a walk of approximately 200 yards over sand, rocks and uneven terrain; there will also be ten to 12 steps to enter the tent. We therefore do not recommend this tour to guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users. Comfortable shoes and insect repellent may be advisable. Please note that Bedouins do not live in the tent you will visit. Your dinner will consist of barbeque meats, typically lamb and koftas as well as side dishes such as salad, white rice, potatoes with herbs, oriental pastries and seasonal fruits. Guests will be seated on cushions on the floor; mineral water, soft drinks and tea and coffee is included. It may be possible to take a short camel ride during the evening, this will be at your own risk.

Venture into the tranquil Sinai desert for a unique opportunity to complete a yoga class at sunset.

Your tour will begin with an approximate 60 minute drive into the desert. Upon arrival at your yoga base point you will be met by your yoga teacher for the evening, who will take into account every bodies practice levels and styles before introducing you to the first of many yoga moves.

Let the tranquillity of the surrounding landscape wash over your soul and whisk you away from the stresses of modern life as the sun sets.

Meditation at sunset is the perfect way to end the day.
