Puerto Caldera Cruises

Located off of the Gulf of Nicoya in Costa Rica, Puerto Caldera is home to Carara National Park – a biological reserve placed between the north’s dry forests and the south’s lush tropical rainforests, where a diverse array of animal species live, including the rare Scarlet Macaws. This is just one of Costa Rica’s protected zones created in a conservation drive; the country has 27 separate national parks, 58 sanctuaries for wildlife, 32 protected zones and 19 forest or biological reserves.
