Step aboard the catamaran Oplezir, an exclusive luxury vessel, which will take you on a scenic and relaxing trip to the stunning St. Pierre and Robinson Crusoe Island. A tour not to be missed if you are wanting to experience the Seychelles at a glance!

Leaving Baie St. Anne Jetty behind, sail towards St. Pierre, one of several islands in the bay of Côte d’Or on Praslin. Its granite profile scattered with coconut palms has come, over the years, to represent the quintessential Seychelles Island, appearing in numerous advertisement campaigns and posters. Time will be given to swim and snorkel in the crystal blue waters before departing to Curieuse Island.

Curieuse Island boasts the second largest natural colony of the Coco de Mer Palm and giant land tortoises. After visiting the famous tortoises, you embark on a guided tour of the island, walking through the mountains and mangrove swamps to Anse Josee or Doctor’s House. Free time will allow you to relax on the beach or take a dip in the warm blue waters of the Indian Ocean.

Back onboard the Oplezir, a BBQ lunch, consisting of grilled fish, local curries and salads will be served.

As you sail slowly back towards Baie St. Anne Jetty, a short stop will be made in the vicinity of Anse Lazio to allow time for more snorkelling and swimming.

There are many different trails that can be completed, however only one will be completed on the tour. Guests are advised to wear sun protection and if you wish to swim at Anse Lazio, it is recommended that you come wearing your swimwear under your casual clothes and bring a towel.

Fond Ferdinand is an alternative place to view the Coco de Mer and also the biggest natural park in Praslin, a fact that most visitors to the island are unaware of! Join this tour to really gain an insight into the flora and fauna of this stunning island.

Depart from the jetty and head towards Anse Marie Louise. After a short drive you arrive at Le Ravin De Fond Ferdinand, which covers an area of 150 hectares and is owned by the government. It was the first area on Praslin to be bought as a Coco De Mer Reserve in 1894. It incorporates a safe stone-built trail throughout the reserve which extends to a distance of more than two kilometres. The rich biodiversity found here includes all six endemic palm and rare endemic flora species including Gastonia, Diospiros Seychellarum, and Aphloiaseychellarum.

After approximately three hours of discovering this hidden gem, you will depart from Anse Marie Louise and return to your awaiting ship.

La Digue Island, where time and traditions appear to have stood still. So if you are look for a relaxed island vibe with beautiful beaches and a touch of local life then your tour awaits!

Following your tender ride ashore you will board the Cat Cocos for the short ride across to La Digue Island. On arrival at the jetty you will head to L’Union Estate for a glimpse of ancient plantation life.  

L’Union Estate will reveal the secrets of the production of ‘copra’ the flesh of the coconut that you will find drying in the kiln and be able to taste while it is still warm. You will learn how coconut oil is made and have the opportunity of taking in the delights of the giant tortoise pen not forgetting the architectural splendour of the Plantation House.

Boarding your transport you will be taken to Anse Source D’Argent. As you step out you will see why this is the most famous beach in the Seychelles. Framed by massive granite boulders, the crystal clear waters lap the fine white sand of this iconic beach. After approximately one hour of time at leisure you will depart L’Union for sightseeing of the northern side of the island.

A stop at Grand Anse where time to capture that all important photograph will be afforded. En route back to your departure point you will stop at La Passe to spend a few moments browsing in the souvenir shops.

After approximately three hours of discovering this hidden gem, you will depart from Anse Marie Louise and return to your awaiting ship.

Join a specialist guide to explore Praslin’s World Heritage Site, the Vallee De Mai nature Reserve, in order to discover the unique flora and fauna that lives within the park.

Following the drive to Vallee De Mai Nature Reserve you will be met by a specialist guide who will take you through the park, exploring the well preserved palm forest, searching for the rare Seychelles black parrot, mammals, crustaceans, snails and reptiles that have made this area home. Famous for its Coco de Mer (double coconut) – bearing the largest seed in the planet kingdom, it is one of only two places in the world where they grow naturally (the other being on nearby Curieuse Island) it really is a must visit!

The park consists of three main hiking trails leading through the emerald tinged forest, which remained untouched until the 1930s. As you walk through the forest you will notice the monstrous leaves of the Coco de Mer soaring 30 metres above you, don’t forget your camera!

Departing from the tender arrival point you will take the short drive to one of the best beaches in the archipelago. Located in the north east of Madagascar, it has crystal clear waters and powder white sands.

Lunch will be served, including one refreshments before more time to relax in heaven in the afternoon.

Lunch is included at a nearby restaurant and normally consists of fish and seafood along with one beer or soft drink, any further refreshments will need to be paid for locally. Toilet facilities will be available to use at the restaurant. Beach chairs and umbrellas will not be available during your stay. Don’t forget your towel! Lifeguards will not be on duty at this beach; therefore we ask that you take care and obey any signs when swimming in the sea.

The Praslin Museum is situated in the ideal location of Cote d’Or and what better place to find all that you need to know about the Seychelles’ culture and traditions – from Creole cuisine, traditional musical instruments and games and so much more. A visit to the Praslin Museum is a must when on the island!

Following the short drive from Praslin jetty you will arrive at the Praslin Musuem. Welcome traditional drinks and snacks, including “Coco Zerm”, coconut, bread fruit chips and banana chips will be served.

Your tour will begin with a visit of the fruit bats where you will be able to learn more about them and take that all important photograph. Moving on you will visit the oldest tortoise on Praslin – at a mere 136 years old!

Continuing on take a visit of the vanilla plantations, view medicinal plants and endemic plants of Seychelles. A performance of coconut de husking and grating with explanations of copra and coconut oil making will be next on the agenda before you reach the traditional kitchen of Seychelles. Here you will get the chance to watch and even participate in the grilling of fruit bread.

Finally you will reach the main area of the museum where you can view old pictures whilst listening to explanations of treasure hunting and traditional games. Among the exhibits here are photographs showing traditional houses, toys, furniture and the airport under construction. There is even a photo dating back to 1901! A chance to play traditional instruments will be available before your return journey to your tender boat. En route you will have the chance to stop off at Cote Dór beach if you wish.
