Mumbai, formerly Bombay, is located on India’s west coast, where the iconic Gateway of India stone arch stands at the harbour. Mumbai is a busy city, and has a blend of Gothic, Victorian, Art Deco and modern architecture. The renowned Gateway to India is built in an Indo-Saracenic style and was completed in 1924, placed to commemorate the visit of King George V to Mumbai. The city is also well known for its food delivery service, where home-cooked food boxes - dabbas - are delivered to workers in time for lunch by Dabbawalas who criss-cross through the busy city many times a day.
