Discover Ossios Loukas Monastery; one of the most interesting religious sites in Greece.

Arriving at Ossios Loukas, which lies on the western slope of Mount Helikon, admire the view from the monastery - below it is the Acropolis of ancient Steirion. It is enclosed by a wall and comprises two and three storey blocks of cells, a bell tower, a refectory on the south side and two adjoining churches at the centre of the enclosure.

Today, it is still an active religious site, which offers impressive sculptures and most importantly, spectacular Byzantine mosaics. After you have enjoyed some time at leisure to explore, you head back to the port.

This tour will take you to Delphi; one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece.

Begin with a beautiful drive from the port through olive tress and mountain passes to the site of Delphi, built on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. The town and ancient site are as awe-inspiring now as they must have been 3,000 years ago, overlooking the Gulf of Corinth and a valley filled with olive and cypress trees.

The town of Delphi sits on the edge of a cliff and the ruins in their breathtaking setting still hide some of the mysteries of the ancient oracle. Entering the archaeological area with your guide, you walk along the Sacred Way, to the Temple of Apollo, where you pass the treasuries and the monuments commemorating great events. Continuing you visit the Museum, home to a superb collection of votive offerings and statues, including the world famous Charioteer.
