Enjoy the stylish buildings and bustling fish market at the city’s harbour before taking a relaxing jaunt through the many districts of the city centre. Be sure to visit Magasinsgatan, home to trendy shops and cafes and Haga, a charming, well preserved historic quarter that’s home to vintage stores and Skansen Kronan, a 17th century fortress that sits proudly at the top of Risåsberget hill.

The world famous Trädgårdsföreningen – the Garden Society of Gothenburg - is one of Gothenburg's must-visit sites, and features gorgeous lawns, pretty woodlands and stunning flower beds filled with thousands of rose species. It's one of Europe's best-kept 19th century parks and is a real feast for the senses.

Enjoy a panoramic tour of Gothenburg as well as a guided tour of the Museum of Fine Arts. The Museum houses collections from the 15th century to the present day. Unlike other major national art museums, the Gothenburg Museum of Art was created by the people of Gothenburg through donations of works and resources. The Museum not only has one of the leading collections of Nordic art from the turn of the previous century, it also contains older Dutch and French art, including important works by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Monet and Picasso.

Start your tour with a drive up to the Masthuggs Church where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Gothenburg and the port. Continue to Götaplatsen where the imposing Poseidon Fountain, by Carl Milles, in the centre is surrounded by the Concert Hall, Municipal Theatre and the Museum of Fine Arts.

Your guide will take you through the magnificent Fürstenberg Gallery - an exquisite collection of Nordic art. In 1902 Pontus Fürstenberg and his wife donated their whole private collection to the city of Gothenburg and this part of the museum is an almost exact copy of their original gallery. Enjoy the masterpieces of world famous Carl Larsson. There will also be some free time to visit other exhibitions before leaving the Museum.

Continue your panoramic sightseeing with a drive along Avenyn, the main street, and the Grand Boulevard of Gothenburg with a great number of restaurants, bars and shops.
