When you first set eyes on the Rock of Gibraltar, it is almost impossible not to be impressed by the visual impact of its structure, towering above the surrounding countryside. Savour impressive views as you take in a sightseeing tour of the area.

Leaving the quayside in Cadiz, you will cross the southern area of the Costa de la Luz and pass the flourishing landscapes of the Atlantic coastline. Upon arrival you will transfer to minivans before proceeding to the Rock of Gibraltar. Beginning on the western side of Gibraltar, you will travel along the city wall, passing reclaimed land, the Trafalgar Cemetery and the cable car station before you reach Europa Point, the southernmost tip of Europe, where you can savour breathtaking views across the Strait to North Africa. Take in the busiest shipping lane in the world, and admire the mingling of the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, and two continents.

At the Upper Rock area and St Michael’s Cave, you will be able to appreciate the mass of oddly shaped stalagmites and stalactites. The cave consists of the Upper Hall, which was prepared during World War II as an emergency hospital but never used, and five connecting passages leading to a smaller hall. Enjoy a stop at the Apes Den, where you can view the semi-wild primates up close. The apes are a breed of tail-less monkeys called Barbary Macaques, and roam freely on the rocky slopes.

Next you return to Gibraltar’s town centre where you can enjoy free time at leisure to admire the shops and take in this typically British environment. Finally rejoin your tour transport for your return journey back to Cadiz.

Appreciate the beautiful countryside of Andalusia, and its attractive white villages, during a leisurely scenic drive.

Your panoramic drive will take you through Medina Sidonia, a town located in the heart of the province of Cádiz between the mountains and the sea. It is as if time forgot about this little village with its cobblestoned streets, red-tiled white buildings scattered along the hillsides, Gothic church and Moorish gate.

Along this route, one of the most prestigious herds of bulls can be found nestled against the backdrop of the historical town of Medina. Travelling along the so called “Bull Route”, your guide will take you into the countryside and explain about the region’s agriculture, including the surrounding olive groves and Carthaginian times. Pass by the village Vejer de la Frontera - a white washed village perched high above the steep gorge of the River Barbate. Declared a national monument in 1978, this pretty village offers a perfect example of what many Andalusian towns were like during five centuries of Islamic rule.

Since the discovery of America, the city of Cádiz has been a gateway to the New World and a bridge between Europe and Africa. Cádiz is also the oldest inhabited city in Western Europe. The old city is immensely intriguing - a cluster of narrow streets opening onto charming small squares. The golden cupola of the Cathedral looms above low white houses, and the whole place has a slightly dilapidated air.

After departing by coach from the pier, you will enjoy a panoramic dive of Cádiz seeing the Town Hall, Plaza San Juan de Dios, Puerta Tierra, Paseo Marítimo and the Cathedral with its gold dome and Baroque façade.

In the 18th century, Cádiz took over the monopole of the New World trade and became the wealthiest port in Western Europe. Most of its buildings date from this period, and the Cathedral was built with gold and silver brought from the New World. Enjoy a short stop to take some memorable pictures. Afterwards your drive will continue towards Alameda Apodaca passing by Campo del Sur, Santa Catalina Fortress, Caleta beach and Parque Genoves for a photo stop. During this drive you will enjoy some of the best views of the city.

Then walk towards Plaza Mina to admire a true flamenco performance. During the flamenco show, lasting approximately one hour, you will also get to taste some of the famous local tapas.

Finally, a short walk of approximately 170 metres leads you to Plaza de España, where your coach will be waiting for you, to return to the pier.

Gain an insight into the production of local wines, as you embark on this wine tasting tour.

Jerez’s exceptional geographical location, its close proximity to the Atlantic, the local chalky soil, the palomino grape, and the careful ageing of the grape must all combine to give the world the pleasure of its unique product - known to the world as sherry.

You will commence your tour with a short sightseeing drive around Cádiz, passing Alameda Park and Genoves Park. Afterwards you will take the highway directly to Jerez de la Frontera and El Majuelo Vineyard, with possibly the most impressive view of the Jerez countryside.

El Majuelo Vineyard is housed in an Arabic watchtower, built in the 17th century and located in the Macharnudo area - considered the best quality land for production of the palomino grape. The vineyard includes perfectly aligned vines, and the juice is extracted from the fruits, giving origin to the exceptional sherries of Jerez.

You will continue your tour with a visit to the traditional sherry wine cellar - Fundador Pedro Domecq. The famous Bristol Cream remains the world’s favourite sherry. Since the discovery of America, the city of Cádiz has been a gateway to the New World and a bridge between Europe and Africa. Cadiz is also the oldest inhabited city in Western Europe. The old city is immensely intriguing - a cluster of narrow streets opening onto charming small squares.

After departing by coach from the pier, you will enjoy a panoramic drive of Cadiz seeing the Town Hall, Plaza San Juan de Dios, Puerta Tierra, Paseo Marítimo and the Cathedral with its gold dome and Baroque façade.

In the 18th century, Cádiz took over the monopole of the New World trade and became the wealthiest port in Western Europe. Most of its buildings date from this period, and the Cathedral was built with gold and silver brought from the New World. Enjoy a short stop to take some memorable pictures.

Afterwards your drive will continue towards Alameda Apodaca passing by Campo del Sur, Santa Catalina Fortress, Caleta beach and Parque Genoves for a photo opportunity. During this drive you will enjoy some of the best views of the city.

A stop will then be made, where a short walk towards Plaza Mina will see you arriving at the “Taberna Flamenca La Cava” to admire a true flamenco performance. During the flamenco show, which will last approximately one hour, you will also be able to taste some of the famous local tapas.

Finally, a short walk of approximately ten minutes leads you to Plaza de España, where your coach will be waiting for you to return to the pier.

Since the discovery of America, Cadiz has been a gateway to the New World and a bridge between Europe and Africa. The city, which is considered to be Spain’s oldest town, is African in appearance and immensely intriguing – a cluster of narrow streets opening onto charming small squares. Admire the highlights of the city before indulging in a wine tasting and admiring Spanish art.

Your tour begins with a brief panoramic drive towards the historic town of Jerez de la Frontera, which boasts a strong Moorish influence in its architecture, and is the sherry capital of the world. In a warm, dry microclimate away from the marine environment of Cadiz, the uniquely sweet sherry grapes grow well.

Bodegas Tradición has been following the tradition of wine for over 350 years of history and is considered the oldest family-owned winery in Jerez. The origins of Bodegas Tradición have links with the legendary brand CZ – the abbreviation for Cabeza de Aranda y Zarco – which is considered the oldest sherry from Jerez. This winery hand bottles the sherries that are classified as VOS – Vinum Optimum Signatum - indicating that the sherry has aged for more than 20 years, or VORS – Vinum Optimum Rare Signatum – indicating that the wine is more than 30 years old. Depending on the age and type of the sherry the vintage is classified as Amintillado, Oloroso, Palo Cartado or Pedro Ximénez.

This winery also holds a private art gallery with different famous paintings. Enjoy a visit of this unique wine cellar and discover the art collection of Spanish paintings from the 15th to 20th centuries.

Before travelling back to the pier, you will have the chance to taste two kinds of VORS sherry wines and one Pedro Ximénez VOS, accompanied by tapas.
