Bilbao, Spain

Introduction to Bilbao

The Basque Country’s biggest and busiest city.

For many visitors Bilbao's primary interest will be the world-famous Guggenheim Museum (whose stimulating art collection is rivalled by the building’s eye-catching design!) and Fine Arts Museum. Within easy reach is San Sebastian, Northern Spain's cosmopolitan resort capital. This Spanish port sits beside the Nervion River, dividing Old Bilbao (Casco Viejo) and Santiago Cathedral from the newer city.
