Relax on a scenic sail through the size-restricted Kiel Canal en route to Travemünde, where you could relax in the summer sunshine on the beautiful beach, or take a trip to UNESCO-listed Lübeck to marvel at the fairy-tale city’s gabled houses, stunning gothic churches and gilded steeples. Sailing to the Danish island of Bornholm next, you’ll enjoy views of the island’s chalky cliffs, dense forest and white-sand beaches before stepping ashore in Rønne – the Danish island’s largest town – where cobbled streets lined pretty half-timbered houses and interesting museums await your exploration. Cruising onwards to Russian shores, you could then visit the historic city of Kaliningrad on a tour from Baltiysk – a maiden call for Fred. – to admire the fine brick-gothic style architecture of the UNESCO-listed cathedral, and see centuries-old walls and fortifications such as Brandenburg Gate which somehow survived relentless allied bombing raids in World War Two.
Your call into the pretty port city of Klaipeda – Lithuania’s gateway to the world – will be perfectly timed to capture the excitement of the Tall Ships Races regatta. You’ll have the chance to soak up the atmosphere at the marina, where historic tall ships from centuries past will be docked alongside; watch the ships’ crews compete against each other in tug-of-war battles and other competitions; and get involved with a host of activities and events at the waterfront. Following your day of fun and festivities in Klaipeda is a call into Copenhagen. While away a couple of hours discovering famous attractions such as the Christianborg and Amelienborg Palaces, and the Little Mermaid statue; then perhaps grab a bite to eat in the evening at one of the trendy bars and restaurants in the bustling Nyhavn district.
Single supplement offers are available on selected grades on this sailing, please call for details.

Rønne offers a historical charm with its cobblestoned streets and cross-timbered houses. Although large amounts of the town were destroyed during the war, it was wisely rebuilt during the post war years, and many buildings look older than they actually are. During the hotter months Rønne offers vast stretches of sand, both to the south and north of the town.Read more about this port and its shore tours >Mon 31Early AMLate NightBaltiysk (Kaliningrad), Russia
