Monaco Grand Prix & the Cannes Film Festival cruise
This thrilling Mediterranean cruise aboard Black Watch is your chance to explore beautiful cities; soak-up some sunshine on beautiful golden-sand beaches; and experience the excitement of a Formula One Grand Prix on one unforgettable holiday.

Monaco is host to arguably the most exciting race in the F1 calendar and you have the unmissable chance to witness the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix on a shore tour from nearby Nice. Join the tour for an opportunity to sample the tense atmosphere of the qualifying session; then on race day, soak up the pre-race build-up before taking your seat to watch the world’s greatest drivers push their 200mph, multi-million pound speed machines to the limit through the streets and tunnels of the glamourous principality – a simply unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Not only is this fantastic 16 night cruise a dream holiday for speed-freaks, it’s also perfect for those looking for a bit of sunshine and culture. Your ship's call into Cannes on one of the final days of the 2017 International Film Festival will offer you the chance to sample all the glitz, glamour and excitement of the event. Wander the pretty promenades; take in the high-end stores, exclusive restaurants and luxury casinos; and be on the look out for the stars of the big screen. An overnight stay in Nice will afford time to capture the splendour of the French Riviera; there's a chance to climb the famous 'rock' in Gibraltar; and you'll also visit three stunning Spanish cities. See the striking Alcazaba Fortress in Malaga, from where you can also take a trip to Granada and the glorious Alhambra Palace; admire the incredible Roman architecture and picturesque bay of Cartagena; and discover iconic wonders such as the remarkable Sagrada Familia in beautiful Barcelona.

Cabin very comfortable, appreciated four-foot bed, aircon / heating worked, comfortable lounges, liked Palms buffet service. Main dining room had too many seats too far from windows and for some reason the blinds were drawn in Spey and Avon. Also muzak in most of the lounges which I could have done...
Cabin very comfortable, appreciated four-foot bed, aircon / heating worked, comfortable lounges, liked Palms buffet service. Main dining room had too many seats too far from windows and for some reason the blinds were drawn in Spey and Avon. Also muzak in most of the lounges which I could have done without, though the Library and Bookmark were OK. I liked the Rosario trio. Tours were not co-ordinated with meals resulting in some friction when guests returned just as the restaurants were closing.

Yet another fantastic cruise with Fred Olsen. The staff are just outstanding, so attentive and friendly. Had a meal in The Grill, just beautiful and well worth the £20 surcharge. Saw some fantastic places as well.
