Experience South America at its finest and discover sun, sea, sand and samba on this cruise adventure of a lifetime. Discover tropical paradises, sprawling metropolises, glamourous resorts, and be part of a spectacular celebration in one of the most iconic cities on earth.

Your holiday begins at a leisurely pace, taking in the vibrant flora and spectacular volcanic scenery of Madeira, Tenerife and Cape Verde before embarking on a relaxing transatlantic crossing to beautiful Brazil. Enjoy the sunshine on Fortaleza’s beaches, and discover the traditional Portuguese-influenced architecture in Ilheus; then call into Rio during the annual carnival for a compelling cultural experience. Immerse yourself in the euphoric atmosphere of this world-famous celebration, where brightly decorated floats and locals dressed in flamboyant costumes move through the city to the sound of entrancing Samba beats. Plus, with a 3-night stay in Rio, there’s time to discover iconic landmarks such as Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain and Copacabana Beach too.

In Uruguay, marvel at some of the country’s finest architectural wonders – such as the Palacio Salvo and Metropolitan Cathedral – in Montevideo’s historic Ciudad Vieja district; and soak up the sunshine in the glamourous resort of Punta del Este, a popular destination with the rich and famous. In between these calls you’ll enjoy an overnight stay in Buenos Aires, allowing extra time to discover the seductive Argentinian capital’s multitude of historic monuments; enjoy a traditional tango dancing performance; and even take a tour to the mighty Iguazu Falls. Back in Brazil, the superb museums and galleries, historic churches and soaring skyscrapers of Sao Paulo await discovery on a tour from Santos; while in Salvador you could explore the UNESCO-listed historic heart of the city before setting sail across the Atlantic once again. En route back to Southampton, you’ll call into Cape Verde, Lanzarote and Lisbon for some sunshine and scenery – the perfect end to this incredible voyage.
