Meet Boudicca in Mauritius in late December and see off 2017 in style exploring beautiful island landscapes, then visit breathtaking ports of call in Mozambique and South Africa in search of an incredible wildlife and fascinating culture – an unforgettable way to welcome the New Year.

An overnight stay in Port Louis is the perfect start to this exotic holiday, allowing time to explore the stunning Mauritian capital – a city famed for its mix of cultures, religions and ethnicities. You could also tour to the dramatic Trou-aux-Cerfs volcano, sacred lake and unique ‘Seven Coloured Earth’ sand dunes; or visit Casela National Park for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to walk with lions. An overnight call at Port Reunion follows, from where Reunion Island’s most spectacular volcanic landscapes, lush valleys and cascading waterfalls will be within reach. Then after a day in the lively Mozambican capital of Maputo – where highlights include the iconic Central Train Station, Natural History Museum and Eiffel-designed Casa de Ferro ‘Iron House’ – the South African leg of this fantastic voyage begins in Richards Bay.

During you day in Richards’ Bay there’s the chance to experience traditional Zulu hospitality at the nearby DumaZulu cultural village; or spend time searching for a variety of wildlife such as buffalos, leopards, zebras, cheetahs and rare white rhinos on a tour to Hluhluwe Game Reserve. From Port Elizabeth, yet more wild experiences await, including a ‘game drive’ through Kariega Game Reserve, where you can view magnificent game and birdlife in a beautiful natural setting, and a 4x4 adventure at Addo Elephant Park. At Mossel Bay you’ll have the opportunity to embark on a boat tour to Seal Island or a trip to Oudtshoorn – ‘the ostrich capital of the world’ – before cruising to Cape Town. Ending your cruise here with a two-night stay, you’ll have time to marvel at the spectacular scenery of the Cape Point peninsula, ride a cable car to the top of Table Mountain, or even climb Signal Hill at sunset and enjoy the views over delicious oysters and fine wines.
