Cruise Highlights: This cruise to the glaciers of Norway tours some of the most stunning scenery in Scandinavia. Starting in Bergen, it can be tailored to suit your interests by choosing from our wide range of option tours.
Stavanger’s pretty harbour and narrow streets make it a delight to explore. But looking further afield, a tour of the Stavanger archipelago is a great way to see Lysefjord. On the north side of this fjord is Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), which at a height of 1,800 feet offers great views of the area.
The cruise then moves on to Skjolden before arriving in Flåm, home to the famous Flåm railway, the best way to view this stunning area of the world.
The ‘Gateway to the Fjords’, Bergen sits in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by seven mountains and seven fjords. As one of Norway’s most important trading ports, it is home to some of the country’s best museums and art galleries. Its historic old town, the Hanseatic wharf of Bryggen, takes you back in time with its narrow alleys and wooden buildings. A visit to Grieg’s summerhouse and the Hardangerfjord, one of Norway’s most beautiful fjords are a must.
,All good things have to come to an end, and after calling at Eldfjord, this cruise holiday to the glaciers of Norway must also, as Braemar begins her journey back to Dover.
Cruise from Dover, UK.
