Remote and difficult to reach yet incredibly beautiful, Greenland is one of the world’s most sought-after destinations and there’s no better way of seeing the drifting icebergs and dramatic fjords of this elusive country than on this astonishing cruise. Enjoy over 16 hours of scenic cruising in the beautiful Tasermuit, Tunugdliarfik and Lichtenau Fjords; see the majestic 1760 metre high Thumbnail cliff at Torssukatak; and gaze at the steep mountains and glorious glaciers that line the winding narrow waterways of Prins Christiansund.
Explore the rugged mountain terrain of Tasiilaq in Eastern Greenland – a maiden call for Fred. Olsen – and watch native wildlife on the sea ice and in the surrounding Arctic waters at Nanortalik. From here, you can also take a trip to nearby Uunartoq and swim in the waters of the hot springs. Speaking of hot springs, you also have the chance to relax in the warm geothermal baths of the famous Blue Lagoon Spa on a tour from Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik.
Guest Travel Information: The 'TriLiverpool' Triathlon event is taking place at Liverpool docks on the day of departure (14th August 2016) and many roads in the area will be closed. Therefore we suggest that guests travelling to the cruise port by car use alternative routes to avoid delays. Click here to view our suggested route to the port.
