Embark Braemar in Barbados and celebrate the festive season in style on this exciting Caribbean cruise. Enjoy a relaxing Christmas Day without the usual stress and strain; visit a string of stunning paradise islands; and experience an unforgettable New Year’s Eve on one incredible 14-night adventure.

See St. Lucia’s soaring Twin Pitons and visit the spectacular Diamond Botanical Gardens and Waterfalls on tours from Castries; discover the unique black-sand volcanic beaches of St. Vincent during a full day in Kingstown; and visit the ‘Spice Island’ of Grenada, where you could spend Christmas Eve birdwatching in the rainforests of Grand Etang National Park. Christmas Day on a Fred. Olsen ship is always special, and on this cruise you can combine delicious traditional food and festive fun with hours of relaxing sunbathing on deck as Braemar cruises in the Caribbean Sea. On Boxing Day, work-off your Christmas indulgences with a delightful stroll in Oranjestad, Aruba which boasts striking colonial architecture and inviting beaches.

The beautiful landscapes of Bonaire beg for exploration during your call into Kralendijk. Take the scenic route around the island on an exhilarating Harley Davidson ride, encountering salt mounds and possibly pink flamingos along the way. Discover the delights of Willemstad, Curacao, an UNESCO World Heritage Site; and ride the stunning St. Kitts Scenic Railway from Basseterre before calling into Antigua on New Year’s Eve. Perhaps spend the day topping-up your tan on gorgeous, sun-drenched beaches or exploring the historic Nelson’s Dockyard; then head into the centre of St. John’s to celebrate with the locals as the clock strikes midnight. Next you’ll experience a memorable circumnavigation of Montserrat – home of the Soufrière Hills Volcano which famously erupted in 1995 – and immerse yourself in the French style and culture of Martinique before sailing back to Barbados to enjoy the gorgeous Caribbean sunshine for one last time.

Hurricane Irma update: The itinerary for this sailing has been adjusted due to the devastation caused to some Caribbean islands by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria, so differs from that shown in our Worldwide 2017/18 brochure. The thoughts of all at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines are with those affected by the hurricanes.

Single supplement offers are available on selected grades on this sailing, please call for details.
