Cruise Highlights: This cruise around the UK and Ireland visits Guernsey, Ireland, Shetland and Scotland. To enable you to make the most of this cruise, we offer a wide range of optional shore tours so you can tailor your experience to suit your interests.
After leaving Dover, the cruise heads for St Peter Port on the island of Guernsey. Its cobbled streets and picturesque seafront marina make it one of Europe’s prettiest harbour towns. Overlooked by Castle Cornet, the town has much to explore including its church, Candie Gardens and Hautville House, home to the French writer Victor Hugo.
Your cruise ship then heads to Falmouth before moving on to Dublin. Ireland’s capital has a lot more to offer than just Guinness. This lively city is very comfortable in its skin with 17th century buildings happily living a 21st century life. Georgian buildings, a castle, cathedral and museums all vie for your attention, but if you want to travel further afield there’s also the Wicklow Mountains and Beaulieu House.
Then the cruise heads for Scotland, first to Lerwick, capital of the Shetlands and then Invergordon. This is the perfect base from which to go monster hunting – namely the most famous Scottish resident, the Loch Ness Monster. Close by are the castles of Dunrobin and Cawdor along with the famous Glenmorangie Distillery.
The final stop on this cruise around UK and Ireland is Rosyth, which offers easy access to Edinburgh, before its time to set sail once more for Dover.
Cruise from Dover, UK.
