Gibraltar
Gibraltar Overview
-
‘The Rock’ as Gibraltar is known, is a tiny microcosm of Britain, although with better weather.
A cruise to Gibraltar will take you to a country where you’ll find red pillar-boxes, fish and chip shops, policemen in helmets and afternoon tea. But Gibraltar also has many unique features to offer its visitors.
The rock rises 426m from the sea and is riddled with caves and tunnels. Covered in unique vegetation, it is also home to numerous species of birds, not to mention the world famous (or should that be infamous?) Barbary monkeys.
Your Gibraltar cruise will offer you the opportunity for a spot of whale watching, bird watching, while hiking, fishing and water sports are all on offer. But if you prefer something a bit more relaxing, there are always the cafés from which you can watch the world go by, or you could just relax on one of Gibraltar’s beaches.
