We are pleased to say that we are updating and improving the benefits available exclusively to Oceans members, making your membership all the more valuable.
All Oceans members will receive a 5% discount on the prices of cruises booked six months in advance (excluding any Latesaver Fares) for cruises departing from Summer 2010 onwards. The 2% and 4% discounts that were only available to Silver and Gold members, the 5% discount on Shore Tours for Blue and Silver members, and the 5% discount on on-board spending for Blue members will all be discontinued. Please see the Levels of Membership for a full list of the new benefits for each level. With the discount on the cruise cost being worth significantly more than the various discounts, we feel this is a much more valuable reward.
Of course, while we want to thank all members, we also want to recognise those who choose to cruise with us the most. With this in mind, in addition to the 5% discount detailed above, Silver and Gold members will benefit from a 5% discount on on-board spending, Flagship Golf and Civilisations packages. Gold members will receive a 5% discount on pre-booked Shore Tours too.
We hope you agree these benefits are a big improvement, which better demonstrates our continuing appreciation to Oceans members for their support.
The new benefits are effective for bookings made for Summer 2010 departures onwards and cannot be applied retrospectively. Membership Terms and Conditions apply.

Lulu gives Fred. Olsen something to ‘Shout’ about!
Our ever-popular Music at Sea programme returns for 2009, bigger and better than ever. This year's headline act is one of the UK's most consistently popular female artists – Lulu! who’ll be appearing on Boudicca (BD0927).
We're delighted to have the voice behind such evergreen hits as “Here Comes the Night”, “Leave a Little Love”, “Try to Understand” and of course “Shout!” on board. Such an iconic personality is sure to prove a big hit with our guests, as will our many other stars of the 'Music at Sea' season. Lulu will be on board Boudicca for three days and perform twice on both nights - so everyone on board should get a chance to see her, performing a tribute to the magic of Motown.
A record breaking day!
With newspapers seeming to delight in doom and gloom it sometimes feels like the whole world is about to stop. We are pleased to say that while the economic situation is no doubt serious, life does go on – shown no more clearly than by 19 March (the launch date of our summer 2010 programme to Oceans members) being the best booking day in Fred. Olsen’s history. January 20th, 2009 the previous record day falls into second place.
2011 Grand Voyages.
January 5th 2011 will be a memorable day as passengers on both Black Watch and Balmoral set sail from Southampton. The two ships will cruise together to Tenerife before separating, each travelling off to some spectacular destinations on a “once in a lifetime”experience that many choose to repeat subsequently. -
