INVERGORDON, SCOTLAND
Departing from the pier, a short drive north takes us to the ancient Royal Burgh of Tain for a tour of the Glenmorangie Distillery. Glenmorangie in Gaelic means ‘glen of tranquillity’ – an appropriate description for its quiet and scenic location. Here we will be shown a demonstration of the traditional skills before enjoying a ‘wee dram’ of the fine whisky produced.
