The helicopter will lift off from sea level and travel into the Jostedal Glacier area, for an approximate 15-minute ride with a spectacular view over the valley, lakes and mountains. Finally we fly over the Jostedal Glacier itself before descending back to the landing site with a view of the fjord.
Having enjoyed the contrast between rugged mountains, glaciers and tranquil fjords from our aerial vantagepoint, our exhilarating flight draws to an end and we are returned to our landing pad.
TOUR NOTES: This tour is dependent upon safe flying conditions, and can be cancelled at the pilot’s discretion. There may be steps to negotiate to board the helicopter and, for safety reasons, passengers cannot be carried on to the helicopter. If you are unable to board the aircraft, no refund will be possible. The pilot will decide seating arrangements - please note that not all passengers may be seated next to a window, although we are assured that everyone will enjoy a good view. There may not be commentary during the flight. The transfer time each way is approximately 5 minutes from the pier to the landing pad. Please dress according to the weather conditions on the day.
