The Tromsø Wilderness Centre is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the city. Here we will enjoy an exciting programme of events including a chance to meet some of the 130 huskies.

The Tromsø Wilderness Centre is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the city. Here we will enjoy an exciting programme of events including a chance to meet some of the 130 huskies. We will enter a ‘lavvo’ (Sami tent), where we may sample reindeer meat and fresh smoked salmon. A slideshow of the expeditions of our hosts, Tove and Tore, will be shown.
There is limited walking involved during this unique tour, over partly gravelled ground. Please note that the Huskies are not pets, but rather racing dogs.
