The capital of the island of Bornholm.

Rønne offers a historical charm with its cobblestoned streets and cross-timbered houses. Although large amounts of the town were destroyed during the war, it was wisely rebuilt during the post war years, and many buildings look older than they actually are. During the hotter months Rønne offers vast stretches of sand, both to the south and north of the town.

• This is a scenic tour through the picturesque farmlands of the tiny Baltic Island belonging to Denmark. Travelling by coach we go into Rønne before crossing the island through Almindingen – one of the largest forest areas in Denmark.

• Starting off, our tour takes us through Rønne. We then follow a scenic route – partly along the disused rail track and partly on forest paths – with our first stop at Nyker Round Church, which is the smallest on the island.
