This tour is for those of us searching for a dramatic way to view the utterly amazing fjordland scenery. Characterised as ‘Norway’s fruit garden’, the village of Ulvik is a well known tourist centre. As we commence our flight, we will see roads zigzagging their way through pretty mountainside orchards perched above the lovely fjord. We quickly ascend over the Osafjord, up to Osa Mountain. Passing the huge Osa Dam, we now reach the top of the Hardangervidda Mountain plateau, a vast and wild expanse, to enjoy a stunning bird’s eye view of the incredible Hardangerjøkulen Glacier. Flying over many small mountain lakes, our exhilarating flight concludes as we approach Ulvik once more – we can admire our ship anchored in this beautiful arm of the Hardangerfjord. Surely an aerial event to remember for an eternity!

This tour is dependent upon safe flying conditions, and can be cancelled at the pilot’s discretion. Please note that the maximum weight of each passenger load must not exceed 480 kilograms (1,058 pounds). For safety reasons, passengers cannot be carried on to the plane. Minimum/maximum 4 passengers per flight; minimum of 3 flights to operate.
