Bari
Bari has an unusual claim to fame - as the last resting place of Santa Claus. Or, at least, of Saint Nicholas whose bones were stolen by Bari sailors from the city of Myra (now in Turkey) and re-buried in the magnificent cathedral.

Departing from Bari, we will proceed through the beautiful green Apulian countryside, dotted with vineyards, almond and olive trees and scattered with ‘trulli’ – unique white stone houses, bee-hive shaped with grey stone roofs.

The Archaeological Site of Nora (Tour A)
CAGLIARI, SARDINIA
Driving in a south westerly direction from Cagliari, our coach will pass St Gill’s Lagoon – where, if we are lucky, we may see pink flamingos. Our route continues amongst olive groves and we will spot, in the distance, one of the biggest refineries in the Mediterranean, belonging to the township of Sarroch.
