Leaving the Pier we head towards Câmara de Lobos, a small fishing village on the south coast. We stop at Cabo Girão – the highest sea-cliff in Europe and the second highest in the world. Then it is on to Ribeira Brava, where we start to cross the island.
Leaving the Pier we head towards Câmara de Lobos, a small fishing village on the south coast. We stop at Cabo Girão – the highest sea-cliff in Europe and the second highest in the world. Then it is on to Ribeira Brava, where we start to cross the island. We will pass through Encumeada and descend to the village of São Vincente along the dramatic coastal road. Lunch is served at the charming village of São Vincente. Refreshed we should be able to enjoy some free time, before we continue our scenic drive back to Funchal. Please note that this tour involves a total walking time of approximately 1 hour.
