TOUR C - PORT GRIMAULD & ST TROPEZ
Excursions
- £60-£70
- 7.5 hours
From the ship at Toulon, we start our tour with a drive along the Corniche des Maures, a magnificent journey along the wooded coastline that features impressive views and colourful flowers when in season.
We arrive at Port Grimaud harbour, which was designed by the famous architect Francois Spoerry. The harbour is equipped with modern amenities and resembles a lovely Mediterranean fishing village. We have time to explore the harbour’s interesting shops and scenery independently.
After re boarding the coach, we shall be driven to the famous village of St Tropez. We will enjoy a guided walking tour before being able to explore the narrow streets and picturesque waterfront independently, where the old pink and yellow houses have been converted into pastry shops, restaurants, galleries and shops.
After an hour of free time, we will board the coach and make our journey back to Toulon.
TOUR NOTES: There will be approximately one and a half hours in total of compulsory walking with some cobblestone and uphill terrain. We will have an hour of free time in both Port Grimauld and St Tropez where walking is at the discretion of the individual. Unfortunately we do not recommend this tour for those with limited mobility or wheelchair users. This tour may operate in a different order to that described.
