Palamos, Costa Brava
Palamos is situated at the eastern end of the wide bay of the Costa Brava, on a headland overlooking the busy port for fishing, trade and pleasure boats.
The modern districts that line the bay were brought about by the cork industry and later by the tourism, which helped the area to flourish.
