For those who have visited Tunis before or just prefer to do their own thing, this tour is perfect. Departing the quayside, a transfer of approximately 30 minutes will take us to Kasbah Square, one of the main entrances to the Medina. We shall embark on a thirty-minute walking tour with our guide, who will give us a presentation of the Medina, orientation and meeting point information.
We will then have approximately two hours of free time to explore the area or browse the various souks selling spices, perfumes, gold and silver, prior to the return journey to the pier.
TOUR NOTES: The amount of walking involved in this tour is at the discretion of the individual. Please note that there is no Shuttle Bus service operating into Tunis. It is an approximate 30-minute drive, and we cannot guarantee that taxis will be available at the quayside. The walking tour and presentation are optional and those guests who do not wish to participate are free to explore independently.
