Reykjavik
A visit to Reykjavík is a memorable experience. This is not only because of the city's remarkable natural beauty, crystal clear air, clean water and friendly residents, but also because of the wealth of activities it has to offer.
International influences flourish alongside old Icelandic cultural traditions and all visitors should be able to find something to engage their interest. Only a short distance from the city are some of Iceland's most beautiful locations. This includes the nation’s “holy place”, Þingvellir, where the world's oldest parliament, the Althing, was established in 930 AD. Somewhat farther east are the renowned waterfall Gullfoss, “Golden Falls”, and the Geysir hot spring area, both fascinating in their own way. And after a busy day's sightseeing what could be more refreshing than a dip in geothermally-heated spring water at one of the city’s open-air swimming pools?

Thorsmork 4x4 Safari (Tour B)
REYKJAVIK, ICELAND
The valley of Thórsmörk is considered a pearl of Icelandic nature. Surrounded by glaciers, it seems like a green oasis in the wilderness. In 4x4 vehicles, especially modified for the purpose of traversing Iceland’s varied terrain, we travel over the lava plateau Hellisheidi and proceed via the southern coastal lowlands, to the greenhouse village Hveragerdi. The route passes through some of the prettiest countryside in Iceland – on a clear day there are frequent views of mountains including snow shrouded Hekla, the country’s most active volcano, and the towering, ice capped Eyjafjallajökull.
