Get up close and personal with nature, in safety and comfort, during a cruise aboard the Miss Ariel – a custom-built, 30-passenger pontoon boat. Our adventure on the Indian River Lagoon will last for approximately 2-2 ½ hours.

Get up close and personal with nature, in safety and comfort, during a cruise aboard the Miss Ariel – a custom-built, 30-passenger pontoon boat. Our adventure on the Indian River Lagoon will last for approximately 2-2 ½ hours. A fully licensed captain will take us along the lagoon – North America’s most diverse estuary with over 4,000 species of plants and animals – while we learn about the history and wildlife of the area. We should keep our eyes peeled for dolphins, manatees, native plants, ospreys, roseate spoonbills and other wading and migratory birds. The onboard hydrophone allows us to listen to the underwater world as we search for life above. Following a most interesting cruise, we will have a light lunch of soup and a sandwich, before returning to Port Canaveral.

TOUR NOTES: The Miss Ariel is completely covered and has inclement weather side panels, marine head (toilet) and speaker system. There will be a limited amount of binoculars available. While wildlife sightings are common, there are no guarantees with nature. A few steps will be encountered on this tour. Unfortunately wheelchairs cannot be accommodated.
