We leave Palma in a westerly direction towards Paguera. At the picturesque fishing port of Puerto Andraitx, we will have approximately 30 minutes of free time to explore the delights of this charming place. We continue our tour by taking the mountain road to the Es Grau Mirador, where we will enjoy a short photo stop before heading further along the rugged coastal road. After admiring the impressive sea views, we will drive through the mountain villages of Banyalbufar and Esporles, where we will visit La Granja, country house of Arabian origin. Here we will see not only the beautiful old building and gardens, but also an exhibition of ancient craftsmanship. We will experience the traditional way of life as we are shown such skills as wool spinning, pottery and wood-carving, which are kept alive in some of the more isolated places of the island. We will be offered typical island products for refreshments such as ‘cocas’ (a flat Mallorcan cake), cheese, ‘buñuelos’ (a hot cake typical to Mallorca) and sangria. There is approximately 1¼ hours of walking involved and a few steps at La Granja.
