WILLEMSTAD, CURACAO
Departing the quayside by bus, we shall travel across the Queen Juliana Bridge to San Jofat residential area, where we shall board the awaiting Miss Ann snorkel vessel. Once onboard our journey to Caracas Bay, home to the sunken tugboat and many species of tropical fish, will begin.
As our boat dances on the waves at the sunken tugboat site, we will be invited to swim, snorkel or simply relax onboard. As we explore the area we are certain to appreciate the abundant marine life. The tugboat has been submerged for so long now that it has become encrusted with multi-coloured coral, a great opportunity for photos! Following our underwater exploration we shall return to the snorkel vessel for a complimentary rum punch, to be enjoyed whilst we delight in the scenic return journey.
TOUR NOTES: Passengers choosing this excursion should be agile enough to get on and off the boat. To get into and out of the water, there is a stepladder and platform over the side of the vessel. Children under 4 years of age are not permitted. Come already wearing your swimming costume under casual clothes, and don’t forget your towel and sun protection. Snorkelling equipment is provided. An underwater camera would be a great addition to your bag. You may be required to sign an insurance waiver before participation.
