Departing our ship, we drive to Paris, where our guide will meet us. Upon arrival, we make our way to Bateaux Parisiens, located by the Iena Bridge right in front of the Eiffel Tower. As we set sail on our Seine River Cruise, we will be able to take in many of the city’s famous monuments, including the Trocadero, the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, the Louvre and Orsay Museums, the Conciergerie and Notre-Dame on the Ile de la Cité. During our river cruise, we can listen to the commentary about the surrounding area.

Once we step back on to dry land, we commence our sightseeing drive, travelling down the Champs Elysées, past the Concorde Square, the Madeleine, Vendome Square and the Opera Garnier. We will then be given some free time to explore Paris on our own. We may choose to browse the Grands Boulevards, which are lined with traditional Parisian brasseries, restaurants and cafés, along with fine shops. One of the most famous of the avenues is Boulevard Haussmann, featuring the renowned French department stores Galeries Lafayette and Printemps.

Following our free time, we re-board our tour coach for the return journey to Rouen and our awaiting ship.

TOUR NOTES: This tour involves approximately three hours of free time, where walking is at the discretion of the individual. There is a limited amount of compulsory walking involved. It is not suitable for wheelchair users. There are a couple of steps to negotiate to board the boat. For reference, the boat is covered, and toilet facilities are available onboard. Please note that this tour does not include lunch or refreshments, these are at your own expense. The journey time from Rouen to Paris is approximately two hours; a comfort stop will be made en route.
