Leaving the port by coach, we will enjoy the short journey to Cavtat, in the south, stopping en route at two panoramic viewpoints for breathtaking views of Dubrovnik. The drive takes us along the lovely Župa coastline, also called the Riviera of Dubrovnik, passing the resorts of Srebreno, Mlini, Soline and Plat. Entering the picturesque seaside resort of Cavtat, founded by Greek settlers from Epidaurus, we will arrive at the palm-lined promenade, from where an easy stroll takes us into the town centre. For those of us looking for a leisurely pursuit, we may choose to wander in the lively and sophisticated town centre, to browse in the shops or watch the world go by in a local café. If the weather’s nice, those looking for a relaxing time could go for a dip in the beautiful azure blue waters. Following our free time, we return to the port and our awaiting ship. All walking on this tour is during free time, and is therefore optional.
