We begin our tour with a short drive south to Cavtat, stopping en route at two panoramic viewpoints for breathtaking views of Dubrovnik. We will first stop at the newly built bridge across Dubrovnik River, which offers a spectacular view of the picturesque Lapad peninsula, while our second photo stop overlooks the whole city and provides a view of the old town with its long medieval city walls.

Continuing, our drive takes us further along the lovely Župa coastline (also called the Riviera of Dubrovnik), passing the resorts of Srebreno, Mlini, Soline and Plat. Entering the picturesque seaside resort of Cavtat, founded by Greek settlers from Epidaurus, we will arrive at the palm-lined promenade, from where a gentle stroll takes us to the town centre. We can then enjoy some free time in Cavtat. For those of us looking for a leisurely pursuit, we may choose to wander in the lively and sophisticated town centre, to browse in the shops or watch the world go by in a local café.
