Iced tea will be served in her orchid-filled garden adjoining Robert Frost Cottage. From here, we will make a one-block walk past distinguished Victorian Homes before arriving at Curry Mansion – a magnificent structure created by the riches of Florida’s first millionaire, who happened to be Jessie Porter’s Great Grandfather. We will be able to wander through these graciously proportioned high ceiling rooms, with birds-eye maple panelling, Tiffany glass sliding doors and original chandeliers – a breathtaking example of the wealth and elegance possible in the 19th century Key West.A final two-block walk, near the old shrimp docks and past Sloppy Joe’s bar, will take us to Audubon House.
