Our adventure begins at the pier where we will be greeted by our friendly crew and board our boat that will take us to our destination, a pristine, uninhabited island – Gibbs Cay.

Our adventure begins at the pier where we will be greeted by our friendly crew and board our boat that will take us to our destination, a pristine, uninhabited island – Gibbs Cay. Upon arrival our crew will provide us with snorkelling equipment and a safety briefing before we head for an approximate 20 minute boat ride to Gibbs Cay. Here we are free to explore the coral reef – 50 yards from the beach. We can get up close to the myriad of colourful fish. Our guide will be happy to answer any questions we may have and they will demonstrate the art of cleaning a conch. A conch is a local tradition and delicacy of all the local restaurants. We will also have the opportunity to explore pretty Gibbs Cay or even go in search of the elusive Osprey or swim from the beach with the stingrays. Watch as one by one these graceful creatures approach the small bay. We can then simply lay back and relax on the white sand beach or explore the island before heading back to our awaiting ship. Snorkelling skills are not required for this trip, but snorkel equipment can be provided for those who would like it. Participants do not have to snorkel. Participants should be agile enough to get on and off the boat. Come already wearing your swimming costume, and do not forget your towel and sun protection. Please note that you may get wet on the boat ride to and from Gibbs Cay. Although we are unable to guarantee the presence of any creature, there is a very good chance that you will encounter stingrays – they know where they get fed! There are no toilets on the island. Independent guests may be present on the boat. There are no beach chairs on the beach.
