Menorca, the northernmost island of the Balearic archipelago, is cliff-bound with a single central hill – Monte Toro. We depart Mahón harbour and proceed to Naveta des Tudons, a magelithic structure of considerable archaeological interest. Our next stop is at Ciutadella, the ancient and beautiful capital city of Menorca. Here we have free time for browsing or shopping before continuing to our next destination. Fornells is a delightful fishing village well known for its fine restaurants, located on the pretty harbour of the same name. Lunch will be served at one of Fornells’ best restaurants, after which we reboard our coach for the journey to Tirant – a luxurious beach resort on the north coast. We then visit Monte Toro, the highest peak in Menorca, for an excellent viewpoint over the island. This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, about 30 minutes at Naveta, 1 hours at Ciutadella and 25 minutes at Fornells. We cannot guarantee the opening of shops in Ciutadella.
