What an adventure, as we skim across the waters of the St John’s River at speeds of 30 miles per hour into the scenic natural wetlands of Florida, on a 45-60 minute airboat ride! Our US Coast Guard Certified captains will whisk us across both deep and shallow water into the highways of the swamp.

What an adventure, as we skim across the waters of the St John’s River at speeds of 30 miles per hour into the scenic natural wetlands of Florida, on a 45-60 minute airboat ride! Our US Coast Guard Certified captains will whisk us across both deep and shallow water into the highways of the swamp. Each ride offers a unique and exhilarating experience of its own. We may come within a hand’s reach of alligators, snakes, ospreys and turtles, and have the opportunity to see eagles, hawks, cranes, egrets and herons soaring above. As we race across the water we can admire the picturesque habitats of Florida. Hold on to your hats on this fun-filled yet educational tour! After our airboat ride we are treated to a sample of true Florida Fixin’s, including gator tail, crabbies and catfish nuggets, and can relax in the waterfront setting. Gator Carl will then entertain us with his wildlife show. We should get our cameras ready as he introduces us to a few alligators, with the opportunity to hold one if we are feeling brave! We can also watch Gator Carl feed the alligators in their pit.

TOUR NOTES - While wildlife sightings are common, there are of course no guarantees with nature. The airboats are very noisy and ear protection is provided. We recommend bringing sunscreen and a jumper or light jacket. Unfortunately wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on this tour. Any interaction with the alligators will be entirely at your own risk.
