Enjoy the bicycle experience again – without the bicycle pain! On this tour we will be able to tour Bermuda on an amazingly easy to pedal, electric, 7-speed mountain bike…even if we are not so fit. We will join EZ Rider on a 2½ hour, guided, electric pedal-assisted bike sightseeing tour through the picturesque West End. Our electric bikes are so easy to pedal we will feel like we have “bionic” legs. We must pedal to make it go, but as we pedal an electric motor assists us… when we stop pedalling the motor stops assisting us and the ped-elec bike coasts and stops just like a bicycle. We will be shown the real Bermuda. Making our departure from the Royal Naval Dockyard we will ride almost effortlessly over lazy country roads, through quiet neighbourhoods, and the historic Railway Trail. We will pause at scenic vistas and points of interest along the way… culminating in a 5 minute walk up to beautiful Fort Scaur Park with its centuries old British fort, and spectacular 360 degree views of the island. We will then board a ferry for a short ride back to the dockyard. Please note sturdy shoes are essential for this tour and although you do not have to be very fit to operate the EZ Rider bikes you do have to be agile enough to get over the 3ft cross bar.
