This truly memorable tour takes us through the Djursland countryside north east of Århus towards Mols – a hilly area so unlike anywhere else in Denmark and absolutely stunning with its beautiful heather filled landscape. We will stop in the lovely old town of Ebeltoft where we shall stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets, view the old houses and the impressive frigate Jutland which is permanently docked in the little harbour. The frigate, reputed to be the largest wooden ship in the world, was completely renovated in the early 1990’s. En route back to our ship we travel past the imposing Danish Renaissance Rosenholm Estate, dating back to 1560.
The scenic drive to and from Ebeltoft is approximately 75 minutes each way. Walking is considered easy, but will be over concrete and cobblestones so may not be suitable for all passengers. Coffee and a Danish pastry are included.
