This tour shows us parts of the town and takes us to the breathtaking viewpoint on Mount Aksla, for the best panoramic view of this spectacular scenery.
Beginning with a drive along the Borgundfjord, through the suburbs, to the bustling old trading centre of Borgund, we then move onto a visit of the Sunnmøre Museum - an open-air folk museum for Norwegian coastal culture. Also located on the site is the Borgund Church which dates back to 1250.
TOUR NOTES: This tour involves approximately one hour of walking over uneven ground during the visit to the Sunnmøre Museum. It is not suitable for wheelchairs. Points of interest may be visited in a different order than that described.
