After an invigorating hour’s sailing, we stop at a protected cliff-side cove – Smittens Bay – for snorkeling in crystal-clear water. We may observe tropical fish and beautiful volcanic rock formations.
Continuing, we travel across the ‘Narrows’ – a three kilometre (two mile) channel that separates St Kitts from her sister island of Nevis. As we stop just off Pinney’s Beach, a casual lunch will be served. There will be time to swim, beach comb or simply relax and soak up some sunshine in this paradise.
Our tour concludes as we sail leisurely back to our awaiting ship. The bar is open for drinks all the way.
TOUR NOTES: This tour is particularly suitable for passengers looking for a fun-filled few hours. To participate passengers must be agile enough to get on and off the catamaran. There are steps to enter the water to snorkel, and to get on to the beach. Come already wearing your swimming costume under casual clothes. Do not forget your towel! It is not advisable to drink alcoholic beverages if you intend to swim. There is limited shade on the boat; therefore adequate sun protection is advisable. The content of lunch may be quite basic. Snorkeling equipment is supplied. Please note that it is illegal to wear camouflage in St Kitts. For your reference, shoes must not be worn onboard.
