The eastern part of the province of Almería is very similar to the north of Africa. We depart the pier, in the direction of Tabernas, admiring beautiful scenery and discovering the area where the movie Lawrence of Arabia was filmed.
The eastern part of the province of Almería is very similar to the north of Africa. We depart the pier, in the direction of Tabernas, admiring beautiful scenery and discovering the area where the movie Lawrence of Arabia was filmed. Our first stop is the village of Alhabia. Here we will have some time to walk around the pottery shop. Afterwards, we will proceed to the village of Laujar de Andarax, where we visit the wine cellar of Cortijo de Cura. Here we have the opportunity to sample the local produce and we will be given some free time to walk around the village. After this interesting visit we will proceed back to the port. Please note that this tour involves approximately 2¼ hours of walking, some of it over uneven ground. Please note that if our call is on a Sunday, some of the shops may be closed.
