Leaving our ship by motor launch, we travel to the St Lucia area of Venice. Here we have a short walk to the beautiful Zen Palace, where we will experience an exceptional evening of entertainment.
Music is the heart of Italy, and the heart beats here in Venice. During a show lasting approximately one and a half hours, we will listen to operatic arias and duets, classical music and famous Italian melodies, including pieces such as La Traviata, Nabucco and Il Barbiere di Siviglia. The musical company at Ai Musicanti usually comprises two sopranos, a tenor, baritone, piano and violin. Welcome refreshments will be served as we relax in the beautiful palace.
After the show, we will walk back to the floating platform at St Lucia for the return journey to our awaiting ship.
TOUR NOTES: This tour involves approximately 40 minutes of walking. After disembarking our ship, there may be quite a walk to reach our private motor launches; there are also steps to negotiate to embark and disembark the launches. There is also a walk to and from the St Lucia area from the floating motor launch platform. Please note that the use of cameras and video cameras is strictly prohibited. Refreshments consist of sparkling wine, beer and soft drinks.
