Upon our arrival we shall be shown around the camp before being invited to help feed these wonderful animals. For the more adventurous of us, we can help to bath the elephants or even take a ride on these friendly animals!
Departing from the quayside by coach we shall travel to Vizhinjam and proceed to the Elephant Camp. Upon our arrival we shall be shown around the camp before being invited to help feed these wonderful animals. For the more adventurous of us, we can help to bath the elephants or even take a ride on these friendly animals!After our visit to the elephant camp, we shall rejoin our coach and drive to Varkala. This pristine beach is hidden under a beautifully carved cliff and is famous in India for its medicinal springs. Here we can relax and soak up the surroundings before our return journey.
Please note that there will not be changing facilities on Varkala Beach, however it will be possible to use the facilities at a nearby hotel, where our refreshments will be served. To save time, we recommend you come already wearing your swimming costume and do not forget to bring a towel and sun protection along with you. Lunch is not included with this tour, but it will be possible to purchase snacks and refreshments locally. Please note that at Varkala Beach all participants are required to exercise their own due caution with regards to sea and bathing conditions.
