We will be able to enjoy the significantly cooler temperatures as our guide leads us along a forest trail, pointing out the flora and fauna of interest.
Departing from the quayside, we will travel up Fort Hill to Belle Vue along the scenic Ridge road to Sage Mountain National Park (1716 feet above sea level) before reaching the starting point for our approximate 1 ½ mile hike through the semi-tropical rainforest. We will be able to enjoy the significantly cooler temperatures as our guide leads us along a forest trail, pointing out the flora and fauna of interest.Following our guided forest walk we will be able to enjoy a fruit punch drink before reboarding our coach and descending the Doty New Road to Garden Cane Bay for approximately 1 hours of free time at the beach. We will be able to relax on the white sand beach or swim in the azure waters of this beautiful beach before our return drive to our awaiting ship.Please note that this tour involves approximately 1 hour of walking through semi-forest terrain and uneven, hilly ground. Some steps may be encountered. Comfortable sturdy walking shoes are advisable. If you intend to swim at Garden Cane Bay we recommend you come already wearing your swimsuit and do not forget your towel. Restrooms facilities will be located at the Forest car park and at Garden Cane Beach. Passengers, who suffer from vertigo, may find that this tour is unsuitable, as our tour will follow winding roads, which both ascend and descend steep hills.
